最近、英語で「渋谷系」に関していっぱい書いているが、「パクり問題」というところで、「パクりには想像力があるのか、クリエーティヴィティーがあるのか」という物議を醸した。渋谷系のアーティストは昔の文化のキュレーターとしては上手で、お洒落な音楽を作ったと思うが、６０年代のアーティストが作曲した歌のメロディーを少しだけ変更し、新曲として出すことが倫理的なことであろうか。小山田圭吾氏は最近大変独特の、オリジナルなサウンドを作り出しているが、フリッパーズの時代には、恥ずかしいぐらいメロディーなどに盗んだ曲を多用しているようである。
このパクりの議論では、日本の方のご意見も聞いてみたいと思っています。日本語でコメントを是非どうぞ。（偽名でも良いよ。）

I don't think "Pakuri" is bad. There is the anarchic aspect of Japanese culture. Of course, there were a lot of discussions about the lack of originarity in Japanese culture in the 90's. I mean those dissussions tends to end up rhetorical stuffs, and they have been repeated over and over since the time Fenollosa discovered japan with big J. Anyway, we riped off stuff that fits in our culture or authenticity. For example, among the original shibuya-kei, My bloody Valentine, Primal Screem's 2nd and Scitti Pollitti were big. I think that kind of stuff that we choose and shop without any context whatsoevere but with our own authenticity is kind a unique. I guess....
