![]() | The new Shugo Tokumaru album L.S.T. will be released in Japan on August 25th! I've heard a sneak peak of the album, and just between you and me, it's amazing. Much more complicated and lysergic than Night Piece, but still not pretentious, L.S.T. further proves Tokumaru's savior-level genius. |
agreed. this album will, like night piece, make it onto alot of top 10's at the end of the year. LST made me cry. seriously.

At first I read:
Much more complicated and lysergic than Night Piece, but still pretentious
Oh good, I thought. I have nothing against pretentious artists, you see. Either way, Shugo is fantastic.
Looking forward to that.
Can't say it's not something of a surprise though, I saw him live a coupla weeks ago and it was all the old Night Piece stuff... still great of course
Go Shugo Go!
Posted by: johnty at July 2, 2005 11:19 AMMy CD will be shortly available with Shugo's at the mlshop

If you are in a rush, there are lots of online stores with my CD in stock. Just search "marxy" and "kyoshu nostalgia"
Not for my record, unfortunately. It's hard to explain why that is... but Japanese distribution is its own crazy beast.
Shugo's old record is in HMV or Tower, in theory, but I'm not sure how much it still is sitting on shelves. The new one should be easy to get when it comes out in August.
Finally found Shugo's CD at Warzawa yesterday, listening to that and the new one from Anthony Rochester. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon after watching Archer Prewitt and the Cocktails last night.
