there is an 8:30 in the morning now? I'll give it a shot if I'm not in traffic or on the train

Are you selling out to the system you despise so much? (the Japanese music industry)

I don't really know if J-WAVE or any other radio station is part of the J-pop machine. Only about 5% of Japanese kids get their music info from radio, which means that radio is much freer to play whatever they want. J-WAVE doesn't really do Top 40 - I've heard them play Akakage and other small indie bands (even Marxy).

I'd have liked to tune in with my vintage コロカセ, but the announcement was a bit short notice...
Any chance for a write-up (Marxy news if there were any) or a MP3? :)

I recorded it on my computer this morning. I'll try to bounce out an mp3 later. Nothing spectacular on my part, but I'm very grateful to J-WAVE for giving me so much press, promotion, and time.
