These shoes were once blue. And I had rolled up the cuffs to make sure the bottom of my jeans "didn't get muddy."

I have that backwards Florida ski perspective where snow skiing is for the wealthy and water skiing is for the dude who can get his boat on the bayou.

With you 100% (backwards Georgia). Though skiing at the Shanghai Yinqixing Indoor Skiing Site, my first time on skis, was a powerfully proletarian experience.
