I'm sorry, but Ms. Feldman's work is not new. Her "novel" appeared in weekly installments of the New Yorker in the late 90s. Unfortunately, I can't remember the original author's name. Feldman hasn't even attempted to modify the original in any way. I haven't seen such boldness since Helen Keller wrote The Frost King.
