Today's Uyoku Musical Number

The uyoku right-wing soundtrucks this evening are blaring out "Stars and Stripes Forever" and also, a rousing instrumental of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

When did these thugs get so into irony?

I never have a camera with a good lens on them when the trucks are near me, but there's always at least one GMC/Chevrolet van in the mix, which always makes me smile.

Japanese ultra-right-wing nationalists driving Ame-sha is just too perfect.

I thought they were having a parade in honour of my birthday party. Or some kind of uyoku Cirque de Soliel.
I look forward to the spicy little latin number this Friday.

If they're taking requests ask for "PARTY ALL THE TIME!"

Well playing the latter national anthem is truly questionable but the. The former Sousa tune just puts them in the company of Monty Python.

They're not into irony, they're just millitantly pro-American. One of the far right groups used to go around with the stars and stripes and the rising sun flag hanging of the back. Really, I'd say these people really understand the Japan-US relationship -better- than we do, and have exposed the whole farce through their angelic honesty.
