tokyo-pan report #1

about a week in to my japan stay. well, tokyo stay. and one show down.
rain has been the order of the day. and walking the streets.

played at bul-lets @ an event called "camouflage" near roppongi with my man "aus" (new LP soon on my inprint music related), and miyauchi yuri , who i can't reccomend enough, his debut is on rallye records. very good. geiska & pakchee also layed down some killer sets.

as you may or may not know, tokyo trains stop at midnight. so you either party early, or party late. so we partied late. this venue "bul-lets" was like being in someones house! people had brough sleeping bags, and were just chillin' on the floor, or sleeping even! this is how ambient music is done if you ask me. friendly relax enviroment. could tokyo be a secert mecca for great ambient electronic music? i'm begining to think so.
