on the front

well, not that the olympics are over, seems like a good time to get back to work. but not here at music related. its a really good time to sit. we're trying to figure out what to do next. if you haven't noticed. witch is likely, cause i don't think its been mentioned anywhere. there is a spiffy CDr sublabel of music related, that work has just started on called "our_small_label". the first release for that is slated for about january 2005. witch will be a limited [of coarse] CDr remix album of night piece. now maybe your wondering why a sublabel? well. its for CDr's to start, and it will probely be more experimental in nature. it would be great if making a regular CDs was actually a profitable business. but its not much of one these days. and music related just can't financially keep up with what we want to do. plus, we can get more jiggy with.. things. anyways. the long of the short is, everything is back in planning mode. so hopefully we can do it all over again next year!

the olympics

trevor, i know that you are a winter olympics fan, but what about the summer fare? it's early in the races, so all that's on Japanese tv is judo and table tennis, although i must say that the 16-year old wonderkind Fukuhara Ai is a mean pingponger.

dog days of

summer. almost done. can't be done soon enough. summer in they city is never any good. the temperature is given based on what it is in the middle of central park. it really in no way reflex's the actual temperature on the street. but in these days of oppressive son, and heat distortion. there is some relief in site. well for those of you in toyko. where i've heard it been brutal. shugo tokumaru's album will finally, fully hit the streets this month. big thanks to MAP and Compare Notes Records. we're all really happy about it. and it will fit in perfectly late at night, when the sun finally sets. in a more personal note. my own solo project "pandatone", has just seen its first full length album, released this month by the fine manchester label Neo Ouija.so well its been slow on the music related front. things are a boil. only if we could figure out what to do next!
